These layers are different: (1) Original uploaded files are deleted 30 days after subscription cancellation. (2) Certificate records remain accessible for 1 year; after the original file is deleted, the certificate remains accessible, but ProofIt can no longer verify the original file itself unless you provide the file again for verification. (3) The SHA-256 hash/record is permanent. (4) Trusted timestamp (TSA) evidence is treated as permanent and independently verifiable if you retain the token. When a file is uploaded for comparison, ProofIt can convert it into a secure representation and compare it with stored certificate records to find similar matches.

Similarity indicates how closely your uploaded content resembles an existing certificate. A higher percentage means stronger resemblance.
